Blue Voyage: 8-Day Luxury Gulet Sailing on the Turkish Riviera
A gulet anchored in the turquoise water of the Turkish Riviera
An 8-day gulet trip · Turkish Riviera

Blue Voyage

Seven nights on a private gulet, sailing the turquoise Turkish Riviera. You wake up on the water, swim before breakfast, and drop anchor somewhere new every night.

📅 August 15–22, 2026 ⚓ 7 nights aboard 👯 8 to 12 travelers

The idea

No packing, no unpacking, no switching hotels. Your home for the week is a handcrafted gulet that carries you from one turquoise bay to the next. You wake up on the water, swim before coffee, move a little, eat really well, and fall asleep under a stupid number of stars.

Honestly, it might be the easiest trip you ever take. Everything is handled from the second you step aboard, so all you have to do is show up and live it.

What's aboard

Proper luxury, fully handled.

A handcrafted yacht, a private crew, and a week set up so the only thing you have to decide is which bay to jump into next.

Private Gulet

Luxury cabins on a handcrafted Turkish yacht with a full crew, daily cleaning, and air conditioning. Your room never changes. The view always does.

🍳

Private Chef

Deluxe breakfasts, fresh lunches, and multi-course dinners served right on deck. Different every day, and always enough for seconds.

🥂

Open Bar

Unlimited local beer, wine, and spirits with nonstop service. The happy hour starts the second the anchor drops.

🏰

Ancient History

Hike to the 4th-century BC Loryma Fortress, wander Roman ruins, and visit a 500 AD church on our favorite goat island.

🌊

Yacht Life

Sunrise workouts, paddleboards, kayaks, wakeboards, jet skis and water skiing in secluded coves. As active as you feel like being.

D Maris Bay

High-end beach beats and bottle service at Turkey's top day club. Mykonos energy, except you arrive by gulet.

Day by day

The voyage, charted.

Eight days, one gulet, a new bay every night. Plans bend with the wind and the water, and that's half the magic.

Setting sail from MarmarisDay 1
Marmaris → Kumlubük

Set Sail

Check in with the crew, run orientation and a safety briefing, then off to our first bay. Jump in the water while the chef fires up the BBQ, then wait for the stars to show up.

A hidden bay on the RivieraDay 2
Kumlubük → Bozburun

Morning Ritual

Swim, coffee, a little deck workout, then a big group breakfast. We explore on foot, then sail to the next bay over lunch.

Goat island and ruinsDay 3
Bozburun → Selimiye

Goat Island

The Bay of Sands, friendly goats on Kameriye Island, a 500 AD Roman church, and a hike to one of the best views of the trip. Wine and a family dinner to close it out.

D Maris Bay day clubDay 4
Selimiye → D Maris Bay

Day Club

Morning bootcamp, then Mykonos-style day clubbing at the infamous D Maris Bay, with live music, a DJ, and water sports. The "quiet evening" never actually happens.

Crystal water swimmingDay 5
D Maris Bay → Datça

Pure Bliss

One of the prettiest stretches of the whole coast and nature at its finest. Expect our most relaxed shavasanas. Time in Datça for gelato and provisions.

The Blue CruiseDay 6
Datça → Selimiye

The Blue Cruise

Now you see why the Turkish Med is called the Blue Cruise. Swimming in crystal water, sweating it out with your new besties, and hiking up to undiscovered ruins.

Water sports near MarmarisDay 7
Selimiye → Marmaris

Last Big Day

Jet skis at a friend's bay, the final swims in that Gatorade-blue water, then into Marmaris for dinner, SYB games, and the awards ceremony.

Marmaris

Departure Day

One last breakfast together, checkout by 10am. It isn't really goodbye though. This is where a lot of friendships actually start.

"Just got back from an unforgettable week in the Turkish Riviera with SYB, my first trip with them and definitely not my last. Strangers quickly turned into new friends, and by the end it felt like we'd built a little family. If you're after good vibes, stunning views, and real connections, this is it."

"I've been lucky enough to do two epic adventures with SYB, from a villa in Nicaragua to setting sail on a gulet in Turkey. The people you meet, the places you see, and the joy you feel is like nothing else. Don't think twice, just DO."

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Can I come solo? +
Yes, and most people do. Living on a boat together brings everyone close fast. You're sharing meals, swims, workouts, and nights on deck, so it doesn't take long before the group feels tight.
What kind of people come on this trip? +
People who want to actually enjoy themselves. Usually late 20s to 40s, sometimes 50s. Active but not trying to suffer, social but happy to chill, and into good food, good views, and a good crew. It's one of the more balanced groups we run.
Is this trip active? +
Yes, but lightly. Think morning workouts or yoga, optional hikes to viewpoints and ruins, and plenty of swimming and paddleboarding. It's not a grind. You can take a day slow and just enjoy being on the boat.
What's the overall vibe? +
Relaxed, social, and a little elevated. The days move slow in a good way: swim, eat, move, repeat. Evenings are long dinners, drinks, music, and time together under the stars. One of our best feel-good trips.
Where exactly do we sail? +
The Turkish Riviera, starting in Marmaris and moving through Bozburun, Selimiye, the D Maris day club, Datça, and a string of hidden bays and islands. A new stop and a new swim every day, and you never change rooms.
Is it safe? +
With us, yes. We work with experienced local crews who know these waters cold, and everything is planned in advance. The Turkish Riviera is a well-traveled, welcoming region, especially along the coast where this trip runs.
How does booking work? +
Pick your dates, book your spot with a 20% deposit (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, or a payment plan), then grab your flight. Six weeks out we collect your details. Three weeks out you get the trip guide, themes, and group chat. The balance is due about six weeks before departure.
What's the cancellation policy? +
Bookings are non-refundable, since spots are limited and trips are planned well in advance. If you cancel more than 45 days before the trip, you may receive trip credit toward a future SurfYogaBeer trip. Travel insurance is required and is the best way to protect your booking if plans change.
